- Bend your right knee and cross your right ankle over your left knee, creating a figure-4 position with your right leg on top.
- Keep your right foot active and both sits bones grounded on the mat.
- Hinge forward from your hips, lowering your torso toward your right leg while keeping your back flat.
- Hold the stretch for the desired duration, then repeat on the opposite side.
Tips
- Move slowly into the stretch and avoid bouncing.
- Keep both sits bones on the ground for an even stretch.
- Use a forward fold modification if you feel strain in your knees.

- Breathe deeply and relax into the stretch with each exhalation.
- This pose is excellent for hip mobility and addressing tight rotator-cuff.
