Star Jump

A explosive full-body plyometric jump where you spread your arms and legs wide in the air, requiring power and coordination.
Instructions
- Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart and your arms positioned close to your body in a relaxed stance.
- Dip into a quarter squat by bending your knees slightly, preparing your lower body for the explosive jump.
- Explosively extend your entire body as you jump as high as possible, fully spreading your arms and legs wide away from your center in a star pattern.
- Land softly back in your starting position, absorbing the impact through your legs and maintaining control.
- Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
Tips
- Land with bent knees to absorb impact and prepare for the next jump.
- Maintain good posture throughout the movement with your chest up.
- Start with lower jumps to master the coordination before maximizing height.
- Ensure adequate space around you for safe movement.
- Use this exercise as part of a plyometric training protocol for power development.
