Abducted Lunge (TRX / Suspension Trainer)
A TRX-assisted lateral lunge performed from an abducted stance, emphasizing outer leg and hip strength with balance assistance.
Instructions
- Set the TRX straps to mid-length and face the anchor point
- Hold the TRX handles at chest height with a slight bend in your arms
- Stand with your feet positioned wider than shoulder-width in an abducted stance
- Keep your torso upright and engage your core
- Shift your weight toward one leg and descend into a lateral lunge position
- The loaded leg bends while the opposite leg extends outward
- Drive through the loaded leg to return to the starting stance
