A dynamic movement combining lunging with rotating and passing a kettlebell between hands, developing lower body strength, core stability, and coordination.
Instructions
- Stand upright holding a kettlebell at chest height with both hands.
- Step forward with one leg into a lunge position while lowering your body.
- As you reach the bottom of the lunge, pass the kettlebell to one side and twist toward your front leg.
- Pass the kettlebell from one hand to the other with a controlled rotational movement.
- Drive through your front leg to return to standing while maintaining grip on the kettlebell.
- Alternate legs and repeat for prescribed reps, passing the kettlebell each repetition.
Tips
- Maintain proper lunge form with your front knee above your ankle to protect your joints.
- Perform the rotation and pass deliberately rather than quickly to maintain control.
- This movement combines lower body strength training with core and rotational work.
- Perform at a moderate pace with controlled tempo to maximize muscle engagement.
- This exercise improves lower body strength, core stability, and movement coordination.
