Secondary Muscles

A dynamic core and chest exercise combining a plank position with alternating hand taps across the chest, enhancing core stability and upper body control.

Instructions

  1. Start in a plank position with hands holding TRX handles
  2. Maintain a rigid, engaged core throughout the movement
  3. Without rotating your hips, tap your right hand to your left chest area
  4. Return to the starting position and tap your left hand to your right chest area
  5. Alternate sides for the prescribed number of reps
  6. Keep your body in a straight line and minimize hip rotation
  7. Perform the movement in a controlled manner

Tips

  • The cross-body tapping increases rotational stability demands
  • Keep your core heavily engaged to prevent unwanted rotation
  • Move slowly for better control and core activation
  • Maintain tension throughout the movement
  • The suspended position of the handles adds instability
  • Focus on tapping rather than reaching for maximum range
