Primary Muscles

A rotational core exercise where the body rotates against resistance provided by TRX straps, targeting obliques and rotational stability.

Instructions

  1. Stand facing the anchor point with feet staggered, holding one TRX handle at chest height
  2. Keep your arms extended and chest facing forward initially
  3. Engage your core and rotate your torso away from the anchor, creating resistance
  4. Use your obliques to control the rotation against the TRX resistance
  5. Return to center with control
  6. Complete reps on one side, then switch and repeat on the opposite side
  7. Maintain core engagement throughout the movement

Tips

  • Focus on rotating from your core, not just swinging your arms
  • The TRX provides variable resistance throughout the movement
  • Keep your shoulders stable and avoid excessive arm movement
  • Perform slower, controlled rotations for better oblique activation
  • Exhale as you rotate away from the anchor, inhale as you return
  • This exercise improves rotational stability and core strength
