A dynamic abdominal exercise where you pass a stability ball between your hands and feet in a V-shaped motion while lying on your back.
Instructions
- Lie on your back with your arms extended overhead and legs extended straight on the floor.
- Hold a stability ball with your hands above your chest.
- Simultaneously bring your upper body and legs up toward each other in a V-motion.
- As you reach the top of the movement, transfer the ball from your hands to your feet.
- Lower your torso and legs back down while holding the ball between your feet.
- Reverse the movement, bringing your feet and ball back up and transferring to your hands.
- Repeat the pass for the desired number of repetitions.
Tips
- This is an advanced core exercise requiring good abdominal strength and coordination.
- Move deliberately and maintain control throughout to ensure proper form.
- Keep your head and neck neutral; avoid pulling on them during the crunch.
- If the ball drops, reset and continue; this is a challenging exercise.
- Modify by keeping your legs bent or starting with smaller range of motion.
