360 (Steel Mace)
A full 360-degree rotational steel mace movement requiring explosive power and core control, performed with the mace overhead.
Instructions
- Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, holding a steel mace vertically with both hands near the lower portion of the handle.
- Press the mace overhead and slightly forward to begin the rotation.
- Initiate a full 360-degree circular motion by rotating the mace around your body in one continuous smooth arc.
- Maintain control throughout the rotation, resisting the centrifugal forces with your shoulders and core.
- Complete the rotation and return to the starting position, repeating in the same direction or alternating directions.
Tips
- This is an advanced movement; master basic mace movements before attempting full 360s.
- Perform a complete range of motion without pausing to maximize the challenging nature of the movement.
- Rotate in controlled manner with strong shoulder and core bracing.
- Focus on maintaining overhead position rather than drifting forward or backward.
- Keep the mace closer to your body on initial attempts for easier control.
