Instructions
- Assume a push-up position with hands on the floor, shoulder-width apart
- Place your feet and shins on the stability ball
- Keep your body in a straight plank with core engaged
- Roll the ball forward by pulling your knees toward your chest
- Tuck your knees as close to your chest as possible
- Extend your legs back to the starting position with control
- Repeat for desired reps
Tips
- Maintain a rigid plank position throughout; don’t let your hips sag
- Pull your knees forward with purpose; avoid partial movements
- Keep your shoulders over your wrists to protect your wrists and shoulders
- Move deliberately and control the ball at all times
- Breathe out as you tuck and breathe in as you extend
- Don’t let the ball roll too quickly; stability is essential
- Start with this movement before progressing to more advanced ball exercises
