Secondary Muscles
An advanced circular movement performed on the rings, combining pressing strength with continuous rotational control through an inverted position.
Instructions
- Begin in a handstand or shoulder stand position on the rings
- Maintain straight arms and core engagement
- Execute a circular motion with your hips, moving in one complete direction
- Keep pressure through the rings and control your trajectory
- Circle your body around while inverted
- Return to the starting position and repeat in the opposite direction
Tips
- Requires excellent handstand stability as a foundation
- Start with partial circles before attempting full rotations
- Maintain tension throughout your entire body for control
- Build shoulder and core strength extensively before attempting
- Focus on smooth, controlled movements rather than speed
- Can be performed as holds between circles to build confidence
