Suspended RowSuspended Row

A TRX-based back exercise that builds pulling strength and improves posture through horizontal rowing.

Instructions

  1. Suspend your straps at approximately chest height.
  2. Take a handle in each hand and lean back, keeping your body straight and your head neutral.
  3. Your arms should be fully extended with your weight supported by the straps.
  4. Pull your elbows back by retracting your shoulder blades, drawing your chest toward the handles.
  5. Pause briefly at the top of the movement.
  6. Lower your body back to the starting position in a controlled manner.

Tips

  • Adjust your body angle to modify difficulty; more horizontal = harder.
  • Focus on pulling your elbows back rather than pulling your hands.
  • Maintain a straight body line throughout the movement.
  • Retract your shoulder blades fully at the top for maximum back engagement.
  • This is an excellent movement for building back strength and improving posture.
