Secondary Muscles

Shoulder and back exercise using a Y arm position. Arms extend overhead while pulling the body toward the straps.

Instructions

  1. Face the anchor point, holding both TRX handles with arms extended.
  2. Walk your feet forward to create tension in the straps, leaning back at approximately 45 degrees.
  3. Keep your body straight and core engaged.
  4. Pull your body forward by raising your arms overhead in a Y position.
  5. Squeeze your shoulder blades together at the top of the movement.
  6. Lower back to the starting position with control.

Tips

  • Keep your core engaged to maintain a straight body line.
  • Avoid rotating your torso during the movement.
  • Focus on pulling with your shoulders and back, not your arms.
  • Maintain constant tension on the TRX straps throughout.
