A dynamic rotational exercise where you pass a kettlebell around your body in a circular motion, engaging the core and arm muscles in a continuous movement.
Instructions
- Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, holding a kettlebell with one hand at your side.
- Begin passing the kettlebell behind your back to your other hand.
- Bring the kettlebell around the front of your body, passing it from one hand to the other in a smooth, continuous circular motion.
- Complete the full circle by returning the kettlebell to the starting hand.
- Repeat the circular passing motion for the desired number of repetitions in one direction.
- Reverse the direction and pass the kettlebell the opposite way for equal repetitions.
- Maintain smooth, controlled hand transfers throughout the movement.
Tips
- Keep the kettlebell moving in a smooth, continuous circle; the motion should be rhythmic and controlled.
- Engage your core throughout the movement, even though the primary movers are the arms.
- The kettlebell should never leave your hands; ensure smooth transfers between hands.
- Increase the speed of the movement gradually as you become more comfortable with the pattern.
- This exercise improves hand-eye coordination and grip strength.
- Perform equal numbers of repetitions in both directions to maintain balance.
- Start with a lighter kettlebell to master the movement pattern before increasing weight.
