The most advanced ab wheel exercise where you roll out while standing upright from the floor.

Instructions

  1. Stand upright with your feet shoulder-width apart.
  2. Hold the ab wheel handles with both hands at waist or chest level.
  3. Keep your core engaged and braced throughout the movement.
  4. Slowly roll the ab wheel forward, extending your body toward the ground.
  5. Continue rolling until your body is nearly parallel to the ground (or as far as you can safely control).
  6. Pause briefly at the extended position while maintaining intense core tension.
  7. Push through your hands and drive your hips forward to pull yourself back to standing.
  8. Repeat for the prescribed number of repetitions.

Tips

  • This is the most demanding variation of the ab wheel exercise; only attempt after mastering kneeling and extended versions.
  • Exceptional core strength and stability is required to prevent excessive lower back strain.
  • The standing position creates maximum loading on the abdominals and anterior core.
  • Never sacrifice form for range of motion; control is paramount.
  • This exercise should be performed with extreme caution and proper progression over time.
