A pressing variation using suspension straps at an incline angle to emphasize upper chest and anterior deltoid development. Adjustable difficulty based on body angle.

Instructions

  1. Stand facing away from the TRX anchor point with feet hip-width apart
  2. Hold the handles at upper chest height with elbows bent at 90 degrees
  3. Walk your feet forward to create an incline angle with your body
  4. Lower your body toward the handles by bending your elbows
  5. Lower until your elbows are approximately 45-90 degrees
  6. Press through your chest and shoulders to drive back to the starting position
  7. Maintain a straight body line from head to heels
  8. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions

Tips

  • Your body should form a straight plank position throughout the movement
  • The more upright your body, the easier the movement; lean back to increase difficulty
  • Keep your core engaged to prevent sagging hips or excessive lower back arch
  • Your elbows should track at approximately 45 degrees from your body
  • Lower with control; avoid dropping toward the handles
  • Adjust hand position higher or lower to target different areas of the chest
  • Breathe in during the descent, exhale as you press away
