An extremely challenging compound movement combining chest pressing with rotational core work. Requires exceptional shoulder stability and core strength.

Instructions

  1. Start in a plank position with your feet in the TRX straps
  2. Perform a standard push-up motion, lowering your chest toward the ground
  3. As you press back up, rotate your body to one side
  4. Bring your knee toward your opposite elbow in a crunch-like motion
  5. Return to the plank position and repeat on the opposite side
  6. Alternate sides in a coordinated, controlled manner
  7. Maintain core tension and hip stability throughout
  8. Complete the prescribed number of repetitions

Tips

  • This combines a push-up with core rotation; it’s extremely demanding
  • Your core must prevent excessive rotation or sagging
  • The movement requires significant shoulder stability
  • Master basic push-ups and TRX movements before attempting this
  • Maintain a neutral spine and engaged core throughout
  • Control the rotational portion; avoid jerky movements
  • Breathe out during the exertion, breathe in during recovery
  • This builds exceptional pressing and rotational core strength
