Combined movement that flows from a squat into a Y fly, targeting lower body and shoulders.
Instructions
- Face the anchor point, holding both TRX handles with arms extended.
- Walk your feet forward to create tension in the straps, leaning back slightly.
- Lower into a squat by bending your knees and hips, keeping your chest up.
- Drive through your heels to stand up from the squat.
- As you stand, pull your body forward and rotate your arms out into a Y position overhead.
- Return to the starting position and repeat.
Tips
- Coordinate the squat and shoulder movement in one fluid motion.
- Keep constant tension on the straps throughout the exercise.
- Engage your core to maintain stability and control.
- Focus on pulling with your shoulders and back during the fly portion.
