Instructions
- Lie on your back with legs extended and arms extended overhead holding a medicine ball.
- In one explosive movement, simultaneously lift your torso and raise your legs.
- Bring your torso and legs to form a V shape, meeting in the middle.
- Try to touch the medicine ball to your feet or shins at the peak of the movement.
- Lower your torso and legs back to the starting position with control.
- Repeat for the prescribed number of repetitions.
Tips
- Perform the movement explosively to maximize core engagement.
- Keep your legs relatively straight throughout to increase difficulty.
- The medicine ball adds weight to increase the exercise’s intensity.
- Maintain a neutral spine; avoid jerking your neck.
- This compound movement effectively targets the entire abdominal region.
