Primary Muscles

An abdominal exercise where you roll forward on a stability ball, extending your body while maintaining core tension to prevent sagging.

Instructions

  1. Kneel on the floor with a stability ball in front of you.
  2. Place your hands on top of the stability ball, shoulder-width apart.
  3. Engage your core and roll the ball forward by extending your arms, allowing your body to stretch out in a plank-like position.
  4. Keep your core tight to prevent your hips from sagging towards the floor.
  5. Roll the ball back towards your knees by contracting your abdominals, returning to the starting position.
  6. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.

Tips

  • Maintain a neutral spine throughout the movement to protect your lower back.
  • The further you roll out, the more challenging the exercise becomes.
  • Start with a shorter range of motion if you’re a beginner and gradually increase as you build strength.
  • Keep your glutes engaged to prevent excessive lumbar extension.
  • Breathe out as you roll forward and inhale as you return.
