Explosive jumping movement where you pull your knees toward your chest. Highly demanding plyometric exercise.

Instructions

  1. Stand with your feet hip-width apart, arms at your sides.
  2. Bend your knees and swing your arms backward to generate momentum.
  3. Explosively drive through your heels and jump vertically as high as possible.
  4. As you jump, pull your knees toward your chest, bringing your thighs up to waist height.
  5. Extend your legs downward to prepare for landing.
  6. Land softly with bent knees to absorb the impact.

Tips

  • Land with control to protect your knees and ankles.
  • Generate power primarily from your lower body, not your arms.
  • Keep your core engaged throughout the movement.
  • Minimize ground contact time between repetitions for maximum power development.
