A compound kettlebell pulling exercise that builds back strength and improves posterior chain development.
Instructions
- Place two kettlebells on the ground in front of your feet.
- Bend your knees slightly and push your hips back, hinging at the waist to create a 45-degree torso angle.
- Grab both kettlebells and maintain a neutral spine throughout.
- Pull the kettlebells toward your stomach by retracting your shoulder blades.
- Flex your elbows to drive the kettlebells up, keeping them close to your body.
- Lower the kettlebells back to the starting position with control.
Tips
- Maintain a neutral spine and avoid rounding your lower back.
- Initiate the movement by pulling your shoulders back, not by pulling with your arms.
- Keep your core tight throughout the movement.
- Use a controlled tempo with emphasis on pulling your elbows back.
Recommended starting values
