Advanced bodyweight hold where your body is horizontal and parallel to the ground. Progression toward full planche.

Instructions

  1. Sit on the ground with legs extended in front of you.
  2. Place your hands on the ground beside your hips, fingers pointing forward.
  3. Press through your hands to lift your hips off the ground.
  4. Draw your knees to your chest to reduce leverage and maintain the position.
  5. Keep your shoulders directly over your hands.
  6. Maintain this horizontal position for the desired duration.

Tips

  • Shift your shoulders forward to reduce the load on your arms and chest.
  • Keep your core engaged to maintain body alignment.
  • Practice progressively longer holds as you build strength.
  • Avoid rotating your torso or allowing your hips to drop.
