An advanced static hold where you maintain a fully extended horizontal position on the rings with arms straight, requiring exceptional shoulder strength and body control.

Instructions

  1. Begin in a support hold on the rings with arms extended
  2. Gradually shift your body into a fully horizontal position
  3. Maintain straight arms perpendicular to your body
  4. Keep your entire body aligned and rigid
  5. Engage your core and maintain tension throughout
  6. Hold this horizontal position for the prescribed duration

Tips

  • This is an extremely advanced skill requiring extensive progression
  • Start with partial layouts and progressively increase the angle
  • Requires exceptional shoulder strength and stability
  • Maintain active shoulder engagement throughout
  • Keep your body in a hollow position to reduce strain
  • Progress very slowly and carefully with this movement
  • Regular stretching and mobility work is important
  • Only attempt with solid progression foundation
